What we believe

Most of life’s admin is not done by professionals. It is done by parents at the kitchen table, by the volunteer who runs the under-9s, by the couple trying to work out whether they can afford to retire a little earlier. They deserve tools as good as the ones businesses get, without the complexity or the price tag.

So every Footprint app is built to the same few rules:

• Do one job well. Each app stands alone. Use one, or use them all.
• Protect people’s data as if it were our own. Encryption, strict access controls and UK GDPR, built in from day one.
• Respect people’s time. Plain language, quick to learn, and nothing that nags.
• Work on whatever device is to hand. In the browser, on a phone, tablet or laptop.

Why “Footprint”?

Every step leaves a mark. Our logo is a footprint whose toes are the colours of our apps, each one a different step through the same week: home, money, the club, the plan.
